Crochet Charts

Want to get your hands on a whole bunch of lovely crochet charts and graphs? I’ve designed a broad variety of charts for crochet; some are international symbol crochet charts; some are two-color charts for filet crochet, and some are multicolored graphs for tapestry crochet, cross stitch on crochet or other crochet techniques.

I give away almost all my crochet charts for free; however, I do have a few symbol crochet charts that have been published in crochet pattern books that are available for sale. So you’ll find a mix of free and paid patterns on this list, but the majority of these links take you to free crochet charts and patterns.

Filet Crochet Charts

Checkered Diamonds Filet Crochet Charts — This checkered diamond pattern is useful for crocheting bedspreads, tablecloths, curtain panels or any other type of project that needs to repeat seamlessly over a large area — or, really, any size area. You could use the same design for making smaller projects like coasters or placemats. There’s also a version of this design that is configured into a tidy little square. The square version doesn’t repeat nicely; it is designed to be a standalone square you could use for making a dishcloth or similar type of item.

Filet Crochet Heart Edging: Free Crochet Chart and Pattern — This pretty filet crochet edging is ideal for finishing off the top edge of a flat sheet, or adding around the outer edges of pillowcases. There are bunches of other ways you could use it in addition to these.

Multicolored Crochet Charts: Tapestry Crochet or Cross Stitch on Crochet

These multicolored charts are useful for a variety of different techniques including tapestry crochet or cross stitch on crochet. Most of my project samples are made using tapestry crochet, but you could experiment with using them for other techniques if you have a different idea in mind.

Rectangular 3-Color Checkerboard Chart — You can use this chart to crochet a multicolored pouch with a zipper and a lining. Complete instructions for this project are included along with the chart, although you can feel free to adapt the chart for other uses if you like.
